About Whiffen & Andrews

A Proud History

Whiffen & Andrews Air Conditioning Pty Ltd was formed in 1978 by the late Mr John Whiffen and Warren Andrews. Since its inception the company has undertaken a wide range of Design and Construct projects including an Ice Storage installation at Penrith Leagues Club, upgrading of the Mechanical Services at Parramatta Leagues Club, numerous commercial office installations and over 100 Harvey Norman retail projects.

In 1999, Whiffen & Andrews was purchased by AE Smith & Sons Pty Ltd, operating under the banner of AE Smith Sydney Construction until May 2003 when the business reverted to its original name of Whiffen and Andrews under the direction of new owner and Managing Director, Brendon Gregg.

An Experienced Team

Brendon Gregg is strongly supported by a staff who also have engineering backgrounds to compliment the skills required to operate in the “Design and Construct’ market. These skills include systemised yet innovative approaches to design, Project Resource Planning, co-ordination with other services and Project Supervision for quality control.

All of our people – project managers, designers, engineers and installers – are highly skilled, and have a great deal of experience with intensive, specialised projects.

To complete the project on time and budget with no additional costs, unless by Client additions, and to provide an efficient working system.
