STAFF OVERVIEW
MANAGING DIRECTOR - Brendon Gregg
Role Description
Responsible for all aspects of the business but primarily in design development in the sales phase. Brendon is solely responsible for securing project orders for the company.
Brendon uses his design skills and experience to guide the estimators and project engineering staff.
Brendon’s other roles include business planning, financial planning, business development and marketing.
Experience
Started Whiffen & Andrews 1986 as a design draftsman. In 1987 was promoted to a project engineering role which provided opportunities in hundreds of Design & Construct projects over the following ten years. Brendon was then made Engineering Manager overseeing the design of all company projects and then General Manager in 1999. Brendon became the Managing Director in 2003.
Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering Certificate.
PROJECT ENGINEER - Matthew Morson
Role Description
Matthew performs the Engineering, Design and Management of the installation of Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems. He is responsible for designing financially viable mechanical systems or enhancing existing designs to ensure functionality and cost effectiveness.
Experience
Matthew has over 10 years experience in the Mechanical Engineering industry. He has been employed by Whiffen & Andrews since 2002 during which time he has successfully designed and overseen the installation of many of our large projects including the Ivy and Sydney Wildlife World.
Qualifications
Matthew has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with Honours from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and over 10 years experience in the industry.
PROJECT ENGINEER - Warwick Beynon
Role Description
Warwick has recently joined our team of staff as an experienced Mechanical Engineer and is responsible for the design engineering and management of efficient and cost effective Air Conditioning systems for our company.
Experience
Warwick has over 10 years experience in the Mechanical Engineering industry.
Qualifications
Warwick has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with Honours from the University of Wollongong.
SITE SUPERVISOR - David Hogarth
Role Description
David is responsible for managing on-site activities of our projects. He carries out the site co-ordination and liases between our Project Engineers/Managers and our subcontractors to ensure works are carried out to our company standards. He also liases with the builders and other trades on a day to day basis. David monitors all OH&S site safety.
Experience
David has over 20 years experience within the Air Conditioning trade from a service technician and installer through to his current role in site supervision. He has been employed by Whiffen and Andrews since 2006 and has co-ordinated large projects during this time including Sydney Wildlife World and the Ivy.
Qualifications
David has a qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and also holds a Contractors Licence -Artick Refrigerant Handling licence.
ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - Gabrielle Price
Role Description
Gabrielle is responsible for the company Financial record keeping and the day to day management of all administrative and accounting requirements within the company. Gabrielle also overseas our company’s Preventative Maintenance & Service division in liaison with the Project Managers post installation of our systems from practical completion through to end of warranty period and then ongoing if required.
Experience
Gabrielle has 20 years experience in administrative roles and has worked with Whiffen & Andrews as the construction Administration Manager since 2000.
DRAFTSMAN - Bill Buckton
Role Description
Bill is responsible for producing the "workshop drawings".
Experience
Bill has been employed in the industry for over 30 years and has experience in all facets of the industry. He has been in his current role for over four years.
